Tempo Calendar & Booking for Everyone, Ask Copera That Never Loses a Turn & Kanban Summaries

Tempo's calendar and booking overhaul is now available to everyone, with Google-parity calendar behavior and Calendly-parity booking. Ask Copera runs now live on the server, so closing the tab no longer loses your turn — and it can finally book meetings, send messages, and prepare emails. Kanban gets per-lane summaries, and you can now pick your own date format and 12/24-hour clock.

New Features

Tempo Calendar & Booking — Now For Everyone

The full calendar and booking overhaul is released workspace-wide (#3336):

• A calendar that behaves like the ones you know — a polished timeline with a single gutter, a live "now" line in agenda view, all-day events that mean the same day for every viewer regardless of timezone, and creates that no longer disappear.
• No more duplicate events — an emailed invite that also lives in your connected Google Calendar now shows up exactly once, and deleting one card can never wipe the other. Existing duplicates were merged automatically.
• Booking, polished — booking links and human verification work reliably, and every booking page state is handled end to end (#3358).

Omni — One Inbox for Every Customer Conversation

A new Omni channel type brings customer conversations from multiple sources into Copera (#3293):

• WhatsApp and a website widget — connect a WhatsApp number and drop an embeddable chat widget on your site; both land in the same conversation inbox.
• Contacts that follow the person — a new Contact entity matches someone across phone, email, and widget visitor identities, and a new Contact column type links a board row to a real person.
• Built for support teams — assignment, routing rules, response-time targets (first-response or per-turn), internal notes, canned response templates, and a full event trail on every conversation.

Ask Copera — Durable Runs That Survive Anything

Ask Copera conversations now run on the server instead of in your browser tab (#3320, #3363):

• Close the tab, keep the run — a turn keeps going even if you refresh, navigate away, or lose connection, and picks up exactly where it left off when you come back.
• It can book and message now — create, update, and cancel meetings and calendar events, send messages, and prepare an email draft for you to review. Around forty write capabilities that were previously unavailable are back.
• Approvals that always work — approval cards stay committable even after a recovered error, actions never double-execute on retry, and Copera no longer claims a review card that can't be shown (#3338).
• Better with images — image inputs are routed to a model that can actually see them, and attachments in Ask Copera now upload as real private files.
• Weekly marketing automation — an end-to-end automation that researches, writes, and illustrates weekly marketing content on a board.

Kanban Summaries

• Numbers under every lane — up to five summary chips (sum, average, min, max, count, percent, and more) under each lane header, computed from that lane's filtered cards with exactly the same math and formatting as the grid (#3355).
• A board summary bar — a docked bar under the lanes with the total card count, board-wide chips, and per-lane breakdowns in tooltips.
• Per-lane overrides — hide a view-wide summary on a single lane, or add up to five that apply only to that lane.

Your Date & Time, Your Way

• Pick your format — a new Date & time preference stores your date order (DMY / MDY / YMD) and 12- or 24-hour clock alongside language and timezone. Copera infers it from your browser once and you can change it any time from Settings or the account menu (#3360).
• A searchable timezone picker — the timezone selector is now searchable and grouped by region, showing offsets like "3h ahead of São Paulo", and appears everywhere a timezone is chosen. The Preferences page was redesigned into a two-column layout with a live preview of your choices (#3361).

Notifications & Push, Unified

• One consistent notification everywhere — the bell and mobile push now share a single dispatch path and message format, incoming calls ring with parity across surfaces, Tempo reminders are delivered as push, and you get proper push preferences to control it all (#3322).

Calls — Ringback, Invite Tiles, and Reliable Ringing

• You hear it ringing — a soft ringback tone plays for the caller during a direct call, and each invited person's tile shows what actually happened: a gray "didn't answer" with a Call again button, or an amber "can't talk right now" with a Send message button that takes you straight to the composer (#3341, #3343, #3344).
• Ringing that actually rings — direct-message calls no longer depend on a background event that could go missing, so the person you call reliably rings (#3341).

Paste Images Into Attachment Cells

• Ctrl+V an image into a cell — clipboard images can now be pasted straight into an attachment cell, matching the paste-to-upload flow chat and comments already had. Text and spreadsheet pastes are untouched (#3341).

Bug Fixes

• Calls that wouldn't stop ringing — phones no longer keep ringing after someone answers by joining the room, an answered call is no longer killed by an older client's stale dismissal, and scheduled room calls no longer invite the organizer to their own call (#3342, #3346, #3350).
• Call notifications on the right device — a device now belongs to exactly one account, and incoming call notifications carry the user they're meant for, so you never get someone else's ring (#3372).
• Direct messages — you can no longer create an empty one-person DM, the composer stays disabled until a real recipient is chosen, and DM names and pictures always show the other person (#3359).
• Grid links and lookups — linking a newly created row now fills its dependent lookup and rollup cells immediately instead of leaving them blank (#3359).
• Checklists — long checklists scroll inside their container instead of stretching the row or card, and the add-item control is never clipped in a popover (#3341, #3359).
• Filter picker crash — switching a condition from a number or SLA column to a status or people column no longer crashes the value picker (#3359).
• Calendar events — an event without a location no longer fails to save, and the notify-by-email dialog no longer hangs the save (#3348, #3354).
• Voice — the recording disclosure sound now plays when you join a recording already in progress, guest rooms no longer crop on mobile or show a false "unauthorized" message, and the call bar buttons are aligned properly (#3364, #3341).
• Voice messages — only one voice message plays at a time, and the playback speed you pick actually sticks (#3373).
• Forms — the Description field visibility now behaves correctly (#3374).
• Grid view — the loading shimmer is back on ungrouped loads, scroll position is tracked per view, and grouped grid borders no longer darken with every repaint (#3365, #3368).
• Board interactions — hardened tooltip and grid interactions, including tooltips that survive live updates (#3339).
• Automations — AI-authored create-row steps and trigger-row links now work correctly, grids no longer blank out after an automation run, and automation-made changes are attributed properly (#3351).
• AI turns that ended blank — a turn that performed a real write no longer reports as a dead turn with an empty answer, and a recoverable permission error inside a tool now produces a corrective result instead of killing the turn (#3347, #3378).
• Onboarding — owner roles are preserved through setup, the wizard no longer remounts mid-flow, and you're no longer bounced back to the wizard after creating your workspace.
• Code blocks — fenced code stays readable inside your own message bubbles.
• Boards stays "Boards" — the product name is no longer translated in other languages (#3352).

Improvements

• Kanban scrolls smoothly at scale — a significant performance pass makes dragging and scrolling large Kanban boards fluid (#3366).
• Faster grid — scrolling no longer re-renders the canvas host, and a repaint loop that could get stuck was fixed (#3367).
• Faster inbox — message classification moved off the loading path, so your inbox appears noticeably faster (#3376).
