A landmark week. Copera Time arrives as a brand-new Calendar, Gantt-style Timeline, and Agenda — all built in-house and timezone-correct. We also shipped the new Infinite Canvas, WhatsApp Channels to message contacts from inside Copera, a redesigned AI-personalized onboarding, simpler Blocks pricing, a referral program, passkey logins, smarter AI, and board view tabs with pinnable default views.

New Features

Copera Time — Calendar, Timeline & Agenda

A brand-new, in-house scheduling experience that replaces the old calendar and agenda, with everything rendered in your correct time zone (#3200):

  • Calendar (month / week / day / agenda) — click a day to quick-add an event, a working "+N more" popover lists everything on a busy day, drag across empty days to create, and a backlog drawer lets you drag unscheduled records onto a day to schedule them. Adds multi-assignee avatars, full keyboard navigation, color-by-group, and a locale-aware week start.
  • Timeline (Gantt-style) — dependency arrows between bars (all four link types), critical-path highlighting, milestones, progress bars, baseline "ghost" bars, and swimlane grouping with drag-to-regroup. Multi-select and bulk-drag move several bars at once, and moving a bar can cascade its dependents to keep the schedule valid.
  • Auto-import external invites — calendar invitations you receive by email are added straight into your Agenda automatically.

Infinite Canvas

  • A spatial canvas with live widgets — a new infinite canvas where you can lay out live Copera widgets, with sharing via Admin / Editor / Viewer roles, transfer ownership, a custom background and grid, and a per-user widget library (#3194, #3195, #3196).

WhatsApp Channels

Connect a WhatsApp number and message contacts without leaving Copera (#749948354):

  • Shared team inbox — replies sent on a shared number are prefixed with the sending teammate's name, so contacts know who they're talking to (#0fd192628)
  • Start new conversations — message a new contact directly from a compose dialog (#8d5341110)
  • Channel management — rename channels, manage members and settings, and detect a phone-number mismatch with a guided relink (#67f2a7e07, #c6a48ae8f)

A Redesigned Onboarding

  • AI-personalized, conversational setup — a new onboarding wizard that talks you through setup with voice input, tailors your channels to your team, lets you pick your theme, and ends with a polished "Welcome to Copera" reveal (#3190, #3193)

Blocks — Simpler Pricing

  • A free workspace with unlimited free members — add power by topping up pay-as-you-go credits (which never expire) or buying Plus/Max Blocks; members are always free and unlimited (#3192)

Referral Program & Missions

  • Refer friends, earn credits — share your personal referral link and get a 1:1 credit match on a friend's first payment, track progress on a new Referrals page, and earn a reward for sharing Copera on LinkedIn (#3189, #1f858fd4a)

Copera Labs

  • Opt-in experiments — a new Labs section (Settings → Account → Labs) with early, reversible experiences: Workspace OS (a windowed desktop), Command OS (a ⌘K launcher), a Copilot side-rail, Mission Control, and Virtual Office (#3182)

Passkeys for Login

  • Sign in with a passkey — add a passkey as a second factor alongside authenticator codes, managed from your account security settings (#7637a0958)

Smarter AI

  • Right model, right price — Copera now automatically picks the best model for each task and a cheaper one for easy questions, shows a "Thinking…" indicator while it reasons, and replies in the language of your latest message; web search results are higher quality too (#3191)

Boards

  • View tabs & default views — Monday-style draggable view tabs, a per-board display mode, and the ability to pin a view as the default — either workspace-wide or just for you (#3185)
  • Convert List views to Grid — turn a List view into the faster Grid view in place, with a retirement notice and a one-click convert (#3180)

More

  • Crop & reposition uploads — avatar and workspace/team logo uploads now include a drag-and-zoom crop step so you control the framing
  • Feature-level roles — assign teammates multiple roles and control who can create channels, boards, docs, Drive items, and DocSign requests (#ebbe564a0)
  • Drive storage limits — per-workspace storage with a usage page and near/over-limit alerts (#7a379bf44)
  • Better dictation retries — retrying a voice dictation now uses a different transcription model, so it's less likely to repeat the same mistake (#3184)

Bug Fixes

  • Boards — hardened grid cell editing, fixed grid UX regressions, and tightened contact-link activation in the grid (#3197, #3198, #3199)
  • Grid search — Ctrl/Cmd+F now scrolls the grid to bring the active match into view (#3186)
  • Exports — scheduled exports no longer crash, and the "Open" action on a ready export now opens the Export History drawer instead of re-downloading the file (#3186)
  • Row detail — opening a record from a linked record or a notification now shows all of its columns consistently (#3183)
  • Editor — fixed a crash in the formatting menu when it was opened before the editor finished loading
  • Reliability — fixed AI error handling, editor state, and microphone selection, plus several production regressions (#3187, #3188)
  • Presence — removed members no longer show as online, and removing a member now signs them out of the workspace immediately (#1fd200b8d, #f981469e4)
  • Team setup — the Getting Started doc and Welcome Board are now shared with your whole team (#5d5fac010)

Improvements

  • Performance — switching between sections no longer reloads the whole workspace, and grids and scrolling are noticeably smoother (#6629935c7, #9c673033b)
  • Billing — the billing page now separates financial transactions from AI usage, with consistent payment-card styling across all billing dialogs (#e4f2a1ced, #64545ec20, #b525278ff)
