A powerful new Workflow Engine brings SLA tracking, approval gates, and business calendars to Boards. DocSign gains legally valid digital signatures with certified timestamps. Inbox now supports full-text search with search history, plus faster email loading.

New Features​

Board — Workflow Engine​

Full workflow engine with SLA tracking, approvals, and business calendars (#2727):

  • Workflow configuration — define status transitions, conditions, required fields, and actions for each board
  • Approval gates — require designated approvers before a row can move to the next status
  • SLA tracking — set time-based goals for each status with automatic tracking against deadlines
  • Business calendars — configure working hours and holidays so SLA calculations respect your team's actual schedule
  • Initial status — set a default starting status for new rows entering the workflow

DocSign — Digital Certificate Signing​

Legally valid digital signatures with certified timestamps:

  • Digital certificate signing — sign PDFs with a legally recognized digital certificate
  • Certified timestamps — each signature includes a certified timestamp proving exactly when the document was signed

Inbox — Full-Text Search​

Full-text search across all inbox folders (#2731):

  • Search across folders — search emails across all folders from a single input
  • Smooth typing — search results update as you type without interrupting your typing
  • Folder tab behavior — folder tabs are automatically disabled during active search to avoid confusion
  • Full i18n support — search interface translated in all supported languages

Inbox — Search History​

Persistent search history for quick access to previous queries:

  • Saved searches — search queries are automatically saved per user and inbox
  • Recent searches dropdown — quickly re-run previous searches from a dropdown list
  • Remove searches — delete individual search history entries you no longer need

Board — Improved Link Modal​

Improved link modal for boards with many linked rows (#2729):

  • Paginated links — link modals now support pagination for boards with many linked rows
  • Better loading — linked rows load faster and display more clearly

Meeting Channel — Dynamic Tiles Layout​

Dynamic tiles layout for meeting channels (#2724):

  • Adaptive grid — participant video tiles automatically rearrange based on the number of participants
  • Responsive layout — tiles resize and reflow to make the best use of available screen space

Workspace — Promote External User to Member​

Promote external users to full workspace members (#2728):

  • Role upgrade — workspace admins can now promote external collaborators to full member status

Bug Fixes​

  • Board: fixed dashboard date conditions and kanban title card display (#2730)
  • Board: fixed link order when removing a row from linked records (#2740)
  • Workflow: fixed saving new status options together with workflow transitions (#2731)
  • Workflow: fixed a crash that could occur when automations interact with workflow rules (#2732)
  • Workflow: fixed dropdowns and switches becoming unresponsive in the column settings dialog (#2734)
  • Workflow: required fields list now correctly hides system and computed columns, and cleans up deleted column references (#2736)
  • Workflow: visibility rules now apply in real-time, not just on page load, and work with multiple status columns (#2737)
  • Workflow: SLA condition values now reset correctly when you switch the status column (#2739)

Improvements​

  • Workflow — you can now properly disable workflow mode on a status column (#2733)
  • Workflow — transition names can now be edited directly inline (#2735)
