New Features

Sparks — Record Your Screen, Share It Instantly

Sparks replaces the old top-bar clip recorder with a proper recording studio (#3441, #3443, #3444):

• Everything you need while recording — a 3-2-1 countdown, a draggable and resizable camera bubble, screen and camera together, live blur on any part of the page you're capturing, and a floating control dock with pause, resume, restart, and cancel. Recordings can run up to 60 minutes.
• Share the second you stop — your video uploads while you record, so the share link is ready the moment you hit stop. No progress bar to wait on.
• A home for your recordings — a new Sparks hub under Drive, with thumbnails, hover previews, duration and status badges, and everything recorded on this device in one place.
• Send it anywhere — copy a link (workspace-only or public), post it to a channel or an Omni conversation, email it from Inbox with an animated preview, attach it to a board row, publish it to YouTube, or download it.
• Public share pages — share a link with anyone outside your workspace, with view counts included.
• Comments and reactions on the timeline — leave a timestamped comment or pin an emoji reaction to the exact moment, on both the internal player and the public page. Click a reaction to jump straight there.

Sparks AI — Subtitles, Translation, Dubbing & Editing by Transcript

• Automatic subtitles — every Spark can be transcribed into word-accurate captions that show on the internal and public players.
• Captions in other languages — translate your captions and let viewers pick their language.
• Dub your video — generate a natural-sounding voice track in another language, with the same voice from start to finish.
• Cut the dead air — Copera finds silences and filler words, tells you how many it found, and tightens the whole recording in one click, saving a shortened version alongside the original.
• Edit by transcript — select words in the transcript and remove them from the video, or re-record a single line in the AI voice without redoing the whole take.
• A waveform editor — click to seek, drag to select a range, then delete it or trim the video down to it.

Sparks on Desktop — Controls That Float Over Every App

In the Copera desktop app, Sparks gets native recording controls that stay on top of everything (#3443, #3444):

• Controls that follow you across apps — a camera bubble and a controls pill (timer, pause, stop, restart, mic, cancel) that float above every application, not just the browser tab.
• Draw on your screen while recording — annotate live, straight from the recording controls.
• Speaker notes only you can see — a teleprompter window that stays visible to you and is left out of the recording.
• Click highlights — expanding rings around each click so viewers can follow your cursor.
• Camera bubble styling — frame rings (white, gradient, or dark) and an optional blurred background.
• Up to 4K — the desktop app records at your screen's native resolution.
• Screen + Camera is desktop-only, since a browser tab can't keep the bubble above other apps. The web recorder now explains this and points you to the desktop app.

Ask Copera & Hired Agents — One Message to a Cited Report

• Ask once, get the report — a single message can kick off deep research and come back as a finished report, with the conversation picking up right where it left off and your original request intact (#3440).
• Sources you can click — citations now render as real links.
• Agents that research too — hired agents can search and read the web on their own schedules and cite what they found.
• Longer, deeper runs — an agent can take more than twice as many steps in a single turn, and generating an image no longer cuts a run short.

AI Usage — Redesigned Analytics

• The whole picture at once — a new spend summary with an over-time chart of where your AI credits went (#3460).
• Break it down your way — switch between a by-feature and a by-member view, plus a ranked list of the members using the most.
• A more consistent Settings — wallet balance, transactions, overview, storage, members, and teams pages have all been restyled to match.

Workforce Builder — Tells You What It Couldn't Do

• No more silent failures — when the agent builder can't apply a change you asked for, it now tells you exactly which change and why, instead of reporting success (#3445).
• A second attempt, automatically — the builder retries the changes it failed to apply, once, on its own.
• An honest Create button — Create is now disabled with a plain explanation when something is blocking hiring, instead of failing after the fact.
• A clearer Directory — the agent Directory shows a proper "no access" state instead of an empty page with an error.

Bug Fixes

• Interrupted AI replies — an AI reply that gets interrupted now ends with a clear explanation instead of an empty message, and replies that are still being worked on are no longer cancelled by mistake (#3446).
• Website chat widget — a stored session can no longer resume someone else's signed-in conversation on a shared device (#3439).
• Board rows from templates — creating a row from a template no longer fails, stays visible when row-level security is on, and keeps the description it was created with.
• Editor crashes — fixed crashes caused by an emoji picker that hadn't finished loading, by color menus after someone else shortened the document, and by an incomplete table column filter.
• Workspace owners without admin rights — owners who ended up on a Member role are restored to Administrator, and changing the workspace owner now grants it correctly (#3447).
• Board access — boards with no access restrictions set are treated as open to everyone, instead of closed to everyone.
• Uploads — empty files no longer get stuck mid-upload, and the app no longer fails to start when the browser blocks local storage.
• AI credits — a duplicate charge for the same action is recognized and ignored, and cancelled runs are not billed.
• Fullscreen on iPhone and iPad — video tiles can now go fullscreen in Safari on iOS.
• Slow board views — a table view that takes too long now returns a clear timeout instead of a generic failure.
• First message in a new AI chat — now reliably saved to the right conversation.
• Code blocks — configuration file snippets in AI and chat messages no longer break the message.

Improvements

• Consistent AI voices — a dubbed video keeps the same voice from beginning to end, even across long recordings.
• More accurate error messages — expected situations, like a cancelled AI run or a background connection dropping and reconnecting, no longer surface as failures.
