Email AI Powers, Notification Overhaul & Meeting Bot Transcriptions

This week delivers a major upgrade to your inbox AI with a new Powers activation experience and smarter email management. Notifications have been completely overhauled with richer messages and new types, board row comments now feature a modern chat-style design, and meeting bot transcriptions get a redesigned explorer with sharing capabilities.

New Features​

Super Copera Email AI — Powers & UX Overhaul​

The AI-powered inbox experience has been redesigned from top to bottom (#2822, #2830):

  • Powers Activation — a new immersive onboarding experience lets you activate individual AI email powers one by one or all at once, with visual feedback as each power comes online
  • Priority-Sorted Inbox — your inbox is now automatically sorted by priority so the most important emails appear first
  • Dashboard Bar — quick filter chips at the top of your inbox let you instantly see emails that need a reply, overdue follow-ups, or new messages
  • Smarter Spam Detection — the AI learns from your corrections when you mark emails as spam or rescue them from trash
  • Follow-Up Tracking — the AI detects emails you sent that need a response and alerts you when they become overdue
  • Inline AI Suggestions — email summaries and suggested draft replies now appear directly within the email view
  • Powers Management — toggle individual AI features on or off and configure follow-up timing from the Powers panel

Notification System Overhaul​

Notifications have been completely rebuilt to be more informative and actionable (#2823, #2824):

  • Richer Notifications — row comment notifications now show the row number, title, board name, and a preview of the comment. Document comment notifications include the comment text
  • Missed Call Notifications — see who tried to call you in meeting channels
  • Meeting Reminders — get notified 15 minutes before your scheduled meetings
  • Transcription Shared — know when someone shares a meeting channel transcription with you
  • Row Status Changes — get notified when the status changes on rows assigned to you
  • Smart Grouping — multiple comments on the same item within 10 minutes are grouped into a single notification
  • Due Date Alerts — receive notifications when board items are approaching or past their due date
  • Notification Preferences — fine-tune which notification types you want to receive

Board Row Comments — Chat-Style Redesign​

The comments section in board row details has been redesigned with a modern chat interface (#2840):

  • Chat Bubbles — your messages appear on the right with colored bubbles matching your workspace theme, while others' messages appear on the left
  • Better Readability — avatars, spacing, and visual hierarchy follow modern messaging patterns
  • Theme Support — the new design adapts beautifully across all four themes (light, dark, darker, and sepia)

Meeting Bot Transcriptions — Redesigned Explorer​

The meeting bot transcription viewer has been rebuilt with a much more powerful interface (#2815):

  • Tree Browser — browse your transcriptions organized as "My Bot Transcriptions" and "Shared Bot Transcriptions" with smart date grouping
  • Search — quickly find transcriptions with fuzzy search
  • Sharing — share transcriptions with individual teammates or entire teams
  • Editable Titles — rename AI-generated titles and descriptions for both meeting bot and meeting channel transcriptions
  • Delete Transcriptions — remove transcriptions you no longer need with full cleanup

Ask Copera AI — Web Browsing & Prompt Library​

The AI assistant gains new capabilities (#2837, #2813):

  • Web Browsing — Copera AI can now read and explore websites to answer your questions with up-to-date information from the web
  • Prompt Library — access your saved prompts from the new plus menu in the AI chat composer

Automation — Advanced Recurrence Editor​

Setting up recurring automations is now much more flexible (#2825):

  • Visual Editor — configure complex recurrence rules with visual controls for frequency, specific weekdays, months, and more
  • AI-Powered Input — describe your recurrence in plain language (e.g., "every other Tuesday and Thursday") and let AI generate the rule for you

Chat — Smoother Image Loading​

Images in chat now reserve their space before loading, so the conversation no longer jumps around when images appear (#2834).

Bug Fixes​

  • Board — fixed image comments on row activities failing to send (#2842)
  • Board — fixed rollup column not updating (#2817)
  • Meeting Channels — users with shared transcriptions can now use AI actions like summaries and action items (#2836)
  • Meeting Channels — sessions with shared transcriptions now appear in the session list for recipients (#2814)
  • Meeting Channels — transcription access rules and email summary recipient settings are now properly enforced (#2818)
  • Meeting Channels — copy, download, and speaker editing now work in meeting bot transcription viewer (#2806, #2807)
  • Meeting Channels — improved transcription download icon for clearer intent (#2841)
  • AI Chat — long URLs no longer overflow the message bubble (#2838)
  • AI Chat — Deep Research chip now resets after sending a message (#2811)
  • AI Chat — file upload limit now works correctly when adding multiple files at once (#2819)
  • Email — inbox email notifications now appear in the notification bell and as push notifications (#2832)
  • Email — switching between email folders is now faster (#2827)
  • Chat — improved image and media sizing in conversations (#2826)

Improvements​

  • AI Chat — you can now ask Copera AI questions about meeting bot transcriptions directly from the viewer (#2808)
  • AI Chat — the loading indicator now appears below completed tool steps for better visibility (#2809)
  • Notifications — updated icons for missed calls, automations, and message notifications (#2832)
  • Chat — paste files directly into row comments and drop multiple files into conversations
