Virtual Office gains background effects with blur and virtual backgrounds. Meeting Channels get configurable invite preferences for style and sound. Plus the launch of Copera University — our new documentation and changelog site.

Virtual Office — Background Effects​

Enhanced the Virtual Office with background effects for video calls (#2708):

  • Background blur — blur your real background for privacy during video calls
  • Virtual backgrounds — choose from preset virtual background images
  • Custom images — upload your own images as virtual backgrounds
  • WebGL segmentation — real-time background segmentation using WebGL for smooth performance
  • Full i18n support — all background effect options are translated in English, Spanish, and Portuguese-BR

Meeting Channel — Invite Preferences​

Configurable invite behavior for meeting channels (#2705):

  • Invite style — choose how invitations appear (notification, popup, or silent)
  • Invite sound — configure the sound played when receiving a meeting channel invitation
  • Per-user settings — each user can set their own invite preferences

The launch of our documentation and knowledge base site:

  • Documentation — guides and tutorials for using Copera features
  • Changelog — weekly changelog entries tracking all platform updates
  • Search — full-text search across all documentation content

Bug Fixes​

  • File: added image resize parameters to file download endpoint for optimized image delivery
  • Board: fixed row link modal sticky title staying visible after scrolling (#2707)
  • Chat: fixed new DM page crash error when navigating to direct messages
