Drive Explorer, Workflow Enhancements & Scheduled Meeting Bots
Drive gets a full Explorer-style makeover with drag-and-drop file movement, right-click context menus, and a creation dropdown. Board workflows gain configurable approval comment modes, bulk status updates, and persistent editor layouts. Plus you can now schedule meeting bots to join later.
New Features
Drive — Explorer-Style File Management
A major UX upgrade brings Google Drive-like interaction patterns to your file management (#2763, #2764):
- Drag-and-drop — move files and folders by dragging them, with visual feedback and auto-scroll near edges
- Right-click context menu — rename, move, share, delete, download, favorite, and more from a context menu
- Creation dropdown — the My Drive button now opens a menu to create folders, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, or upload files
- Shared folder badges — shared folders display a person icon so you can instantly tell them apart from your own
- Smart chevrons — folder expand arrows appear only when subfolders exist, with on-demand loading
Board — Configurable Approval Comment Modes
Replace the simple "require comment on rejection" checkbox with granular controls (#2774):
- Per-action modes — set comment requirements independently for approvals and rejections
- Three options — choose None, Optional, or Required for each action
- In-flight consistency — approval requests follow the rules that were active when they were created
Board — Workflow-Aware Bulk Status Updates
Bulk status changes on workflow-enabled columns now respect your transition rules (#2768):
- Smart filtering — only statuses reachable from all selected rows appear as options
- Intersection logic — when rows have different statuses, only commonly valid transitions show
- Clear feedback — shows a message when no common transitions are available
Board — Visual Workflow Editor Persistence
Your workflow editor layout is now saved between sessions (#2770):
- Saved positions — drag nodes to your preferred arrangement and it sticks
- Viewport memory — pan and zoom state restored when you reopen the editor
- Auto-layout reset — one click to recompute positions from scratch
Meeting Bot — Schedule for Later
Schedule meeting bots to join at a specific time instead of only immediately (#2741):
- Date-time picker — choose when the bot should join, from 2 minutes to 90 days out
- Join mode toggle — switch between "Join Now" and "Schedule for Later"
- Status tracking — see the scheduled time and status transitions in the bot list
AI Usage Dashboard
Track your workspace's AI usage with a dedicated dashboard in workspace settings (#2761):
- Usage overview — see total usage across all AI features with cost breakdowns
- Daily chart — visualize daily AI costs over time
- Per-feature breakdown — understand which features consume the most AI resources
